Abstract

Ferroresonance can arise in isolated neutral systems between phase-to-ground capacitances and non-linear inductances of voltage transformers measuring phase-ground voltages. Networks supplying the mines are characterized by a significant number of voltage transformers and by values of single phase-to-ground fault currents ranging from 30 A to 80 A. Under such conditions, the phenomenon of ferroresonance may occur. The paper presents the results of simulations of mine supply network, which is equipped
with a system for group ferroresonance damping
