Abstract

The article presents the results of the effects of the lightning current flow through all kinds of lighting connectors. The study was conducted as a warning for investors who want to "save" during the construction of the new facility by avoiding the purchase of appropriate lighting protection system. Those connectors can initiate an explosion in potentially explosive atmospheres.
