Impact of power electronics on industrial automatic systems
Abstract
Electromagnetic compatibility is the ability of a device or system to operate failure-free in the specified electromagnetic environment without introducing intolerable electromagnetic disturbances to that environment. While considering the electromagnetic compatibility of specific power electronics we have to analyse the impact of these devices on the working conditions of other devices, in particular, industrial automatic equipment which is coupled directly and magnetically with the power electronics.
