Abstract

The article presents a description, classification and ways of using multi-criteria methods in electricity generation sector. As is
apparent from literature review, methods of multi-criteria analyzes are used in planning the development of existing generation sources,
construction of new individual sources or the hybrid sources construction. The plans for development of power systems taking into account
diversification of the electricity supply have been analysed.
