Fast DC Charging of Electric Vehicle Powered with Solar Power Plant

s. 64-72 DOI: DOI: 10.17274/AEZ.2018.33.05

Abstract

This article presents the process of charging an electric vehicle with a DC fast charger. The energy needed for the charging process is produced by a solar power plant and stored in a stationary battery unit. Three basic scenarios are analysed: 1) solar power plant charging the stationary battery, 2) fast charging of electric vehicle – charger powered from the stationary battery, and 3) fast charging of electric vehicle – charger powered from the stationary battery and aided by a solar power plant.
